Introduction
LT-2500 AC/DC Power Supply – developed and manufactured by Lars Thrane A/S – offers 500W continues power without forced cooling. The power supply will be CE Mark / IEC 60945 certified for the maritime market.
PERFORMANCE
The LT-2500 AC/DC Power Supply has the following interfaces: AC input, DC input, 2 x DC output, and Alarm discrete output for signaling of no AC input source. The power supply has status LED’s indicating: AC input and DC output available. Also, the power supply AC input source can be controlled by using the On/Off button.
The LT-2500 AC/DC Power Supply is designed to be used as the primary power supply for the maritime market (incl. GMDSS), where it is required to connect both AC and DC input source to maintain power at all time and under any conditions. In case of the AC input source disappears, the power supply will seamlessly switch over to the DC input source.
The LT-2500 AC/DC Power Supply is designed and built for the demanding and rough environment at sea and with an operational temperature range from -25⁰C to +55⁰C (-13⁰F to +131⁰F).
INSTALLATION
The LT-2500 AC/DC Power Supply is very easy to install. Everything is included in the box to get started with the installation and operation of the power supply. To install the power supply you must remove the protection cover by loosing two screws. Hereafter, the power supply can be mounted with four screws (one in each corner) to a solid surface.
The power supply is designed to handle AC and DC wires of large cross-section, which is commonly used on the vessels.
More than 40 years of experience have been put into the design and construction of the LT-2500 AC/DC Power Supply, with an exceptional performance and specification level.
